Linda AI vs Dentsy
Dentsy sells a phone system with AI built in, giving your receptionists caller pop-ups, call summaries and scoring, alongside an AI receptionist that answers and books. Linda AI is the receptionist herself. She works inside your practice management software, makes calls as well as taking them, and runs on the phone system you already have.

She tells patients she's AI
Dentsy's FAQ says "most callers won't realise they're speaking to AI" (checked 27 October 2026). Linda introduces herself as an AI receptionist on every call, because a practice's relationship with its patients starts with that first sentence. Patients take it in their stride. One told her in September: "It's the best one I've ever spoke to."
Outbound
Recalls and confirmations, without a person on the phone
Much of Dentsy's product makes your human team quicker on the phone, with patient details popping up as the call comes in and calls scored afterwards. We found no recall, reminder or waitlist campaigns on its site. Linda does that work herself. She confirms tomorrow's appointments, recalls patients due a check-up and contacts new enquiries within a minute, by phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
Clinical safety
Clinical safety, and proof at group scale
Linda has a DCB0129 clinical safety case with a named Clinical Safety Officer, which is the first thing an NHS-facing group asks about. We found no mention of DCB0129 on Dentsy's site. She's used by 500+ clinics, has handled 1,000,000+ calls to date, and is live across a 52-site group.
